SSgt. Kleinedler was with the 414th Civil Affairs in Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was hit by an I.E.D. on October 17, 2006. He suffered 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree burns to his hands, arms and face. He has earned the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart and several other awards and medals. We here in New Braintree are so fortunate to have Bill as our Veterans Agent and a wonderful addition to our town with his lovely family.
Bill's says, "My service to our country is beating steadfast and strong in my heart and soul. I have a deep love and admiration for the freedoms we all find in our lives. I am thankful for the sacrifices of our fore-fathers and give them the respect and honor they deserve." We all thank Bill and all the servicemen and women and their families for their sacrifices. I was honored to have been able to take this photograph of Bill.
